Butterbean Coming to Tampa 2 Sports & Card Show: Autographs & Photo Ops June 5–6, 2027

Eric “Butterbean” Esch carved out one of the most unique and unforgettable legacies in combat sports history, earning the iconic title of “The King of the Four-Rounders.” Bursting onto the professional boxing scene in 1994 after a dominant run in Toughman competitions, his massive physique, undeniable power, and signature American flag trunks quickly made him a fan favorite. Butterbean became a staple of major pay-per-view undercards, captivating audiences with his ability to deliver spectacular, crowd-pleasing knockout victories. Over a boxing career that spanned nearly two decades, he compiled a remarkable record of 77 wins, with 58 of those coming by way of knockout.

Beyond the boxing ring, Esch successfully transitioned his legendary toughness into the worlds of kickboxing and mixed martial arts (MMA). Competing globally for premier organizations like K-1 and PRIDE Fighting Championships, he proved that his devastating punching power was a threat in any combat format. His larger-than-life personality and crossover appeal also paved the way for numerous pop culture appearances, including a famous cameo in Jackass: The Movie and his own reality television series. Butterbean’s enduring status as a pop culture icon and combat sports legend continues to draw generations of fans who admire his raw power and charismatic showmanship.
